Anime Club for May and COSPLAY

Just a reminder that Anime club is still going strong at Cuyahoga Falls library.  We meet two times a month, on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30.  In May, we will have Anime club on May 14 and May 28.

During Anime Club on May 14, we will work on designing a banner to carry in the community parade.

And to celebrate the end of the school year, we will be having a Cosplay party on May 28, and wishing farewell to several graduating members.  We will miss you!!

New members are always welcome to attend.  If you are under the age of 15, you must have a permission slip signed by your parent/guardian to attend.

Questions?  Call Ms. Jen at 330-928-2117 ext. 151.

May Teen Advisory Board

The April TAB meeting was a success, but we are still looking to add more members.  For the May meeting, we are going to start working on the Teen Summer Reading Program.  Ms. Jen needs your help!

May's TAB  meeting is Thursday, May 8, from 4:00 - 5:00.

Members of the Teen Advisory Board, or TAB, will help plan programs for other teens, select books, movies and music for the teen collection, and work towards making this library a fun and safe place for other teens to come and enjoy.

As usual, you will be rewarded for all your hard work...with pizza!

Anyone in grades 6 - 12 is welcome to join.  Parental permission is required for those who become a member of the TAB committee.  This is a great way to earn some community service credits (if your school permits this activity), enjoy fun and food, and help your favorite library.

Registration is appreciated.  Call 330-928-2117 to register.

Geek Out!

Are you a fanboy, otaku, a Whovian, or video game obsessed?  Do you play RPG’s, Pokemon, YuGiOh, or Magic the Gathering?

It doesn’t matter why you Geek Out, you are invited to come and Geek Out at the library on Wednesday, April 30 from 7:00 - 8:30.   There will be snacks.

Bring your favorite game, or geek item to share.  It can be a DS, a card game, or special artifact.  Ms. Jen will be bringing her 3dsXL, and the game Munchkin, and much more.

Anyone in grades 6 - 12 is welcome to attend.
