Homeschool Hub

Coffee, Conversation and Ideas! This monthly meeting is for homeschoolers or those who are considering it. Discussion may include ideas for future speakers, current practices, idea sharing and more. Children are welcome to attend, however older children need to be available to care for younger ones in the Library's Preschool Play Area. Registration is not required.

Arbor Day Ceremony: Honoring Valerie Moirano

Each year, the city plants a tree to recognize an element of Cuyahoga Falls which has made a significant impact on the community. This year, the city will honor and remember the life of Valerie Moirano, a longtime employee of Cuyahoga Falls Library, with the planting of a Japanese Stewartia tree. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

Holiday Traditions From Around the World

Join the Summit County Historical Society to learn about the various customs, history, dining pleasures, superstitions and decorations of holiday traditions from around the world. A lighted Christmas tree, "opletek", a vintage football helmet, Macy's Parade photos, music and song, a "caged wren", and much more are featured in this entertaining and informative presentation.
