Click on the name of a database to go to it. All databases are available both in and outside of the library except as noted; if you're outside the library, all databases require a library card number except as noted.
In addition to searching the databases individually, you can use the Ohio Web Library to search all the statewide information databases using a single interface. Note: This does not search the databases which are provided by Cuyahoga Falls Library, which are indicated below with a small library logo to the right of the title.
Antiques & Art Reference
Use this database of the sale prices of antiques at U.S. auction houses to determine the value of your antiques. With approximately 1,300 categories and related types, the Prices 4 Antiques database is increasingly used in place of the large number of reference books necessary to gain a comparable range and level of knowledge. Every record in the database has at least one full-color photograph; many records have notes about the auctions, and some have an individually researched reference note providing further information about the item.
The OhioLINK Art and Architecture images database is a collection of over 54,000 digital images from AMICO (the Art Museum Image Consortium) as well as contributions from OhioLINK institutions. Some AMICO images are accompanied by audio or video files, such as an audio tour. The collections highlight the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms. Cultures and time periods represented range from contemporary art, Native American and Inuit art, to ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian works, along with Japanese and Chinese works.
