1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
It's never too early to start reading to your child. With this new early literacy pilot program, we're encouraging you to commit to reading 1,000 books to your child before they go to Kindergarten. Children who listen to 500 books will earn a book to keep and those who reach 1,000 will receive a commemorative "1,000 Books" t-shirt.
Come to the Children's Room for details and to sign up beginning Saturday, September 7. This is an ongoing program so you can sign up at any time.

Stories with Mrs. Santa Claus
Saturday, November 30 at 2:00. Mrs. Santa Claus? Of course! Start off the holly, jolly season with a merry jingle as we share stories and songs with Mrs. Claus. Find out where the first tinsel and Christmas lights came from and help a polar bear chase away some naughty trolls! We wish you Happy Holidays with this storytelling show most suitable for children 4+. Hot cocoa and craft will be included after the program. Registration is not required, so if Grandma and Grandpa are visiting from out-of-town, spend a fun afternoon with them at the Library!
