Attention Harry Potter fans! We are looking for kids entering grades 4 to 9 to join our Quidditch team for an inter-library tournament on August 11 at 6 p.m. Visit children's services for details. Registration begins July 19 and ends August 4.

Summer Story Times

Summer story times begin June 17 and continue through July 24.
  • Rock-a-bye Tales - 6 to 24 months: Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
  • Story Times for 2s to 5s: Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m.; Tuesdays at 11 a.m.; Thursdays at 10:15 a.m.
Registration is not required for summer story times. Free!

Cleveland Sports History

Tuesday, June 17, 7 p.m.

This illustrated presentation outlines the history of major sports in Cleveland, touching upon some of the area’s most noted sports heroes while also examining the manner in which games became a central part of the region’s economy. With Dr. John Grabowski, Senior VP of Research and Krieger Mueller Historian at Western Reserve Historical Society.

2014 Summer Reading Program

The library’s popular Summer Reading Program for all ages continues through August 2! Children earn prizes by reading each day, while teens complete bingo cards to collect redeemable Book Bucks. Adults earn entry forms by checking out eligible items.  read more »
