Dams of Cuyahoga Falls on Display

Come in and see our display (upstairs) of images and information pertaining to Vaughn Machinery, the Wetmore Dam and the Ohio Edison Dam.  Since we are losing two of our dams soon, this is a chance to say goodbye to them and to see how the river looked at the turn of the last century. The display has photos of the Glens,  the amusement park there as well as the walking paths.

Transferring Library eBooks to your Kindle by USB

You can usually get library ebooks onto your Kindle using wifi, but sometimes you'll need to use a USB cable - like when you don't have wifi, or when you check out a book published by Penguin. Here's an Amazon web page with instructions and a video on how to do this.

Library Use Is Still Way Up

Last year was the third busiest year in the library’s history in terms of checkouts, and we loaned even more audiobooks, e-books, and regular books for adults than we did in 2010, our busiest year ever. In 2011 we also had more people come into the building, attend our programs, and use our computers.
